What this course is about

Clients are moving away from heavy, synthetic fillers. They want results that look and feel natural. Bio gel (plasma gel) is made by heating your patient's own platelet-poor plasma until it becomes an injectable gel, so it is fully autologous and naturally compatible.

On this course you learn the full workflow, from the blood draw and centrifuge protocol to heat-processing the gel, mixing it with liquid PRF and injecting it safely. You will treat tear troughs, temples, nasolabial folds, cheeks and hand rejuvenation using needle and cannula techniques.

You train hands-on at our working clinic at 180 Finchley Road with practising injectors, so you leave ready to add a premium, high-demand natural filler service from day one.

    Science of Plasma Gel & I-PRF

    • Autologous biology: How platelets, fibrin, growth factors and albumin work, and why plasma gel gives volume while I-PRF stimulates regeneration.
    • Plasma gel vs HA filler: Longevity, feel, indications and how to set realistic expectations with patients.

    Blood Collection & Preparation

    • Venepuncture and centrifuge protocols: Tube selection, spin speeds and times, and how to separate platelet-poor plasma and liquid I-PRF.
    • Heat-processing the gel: Heating, cooling and mixing techniques to get the right gel consistency, with strict aseptic handling.

    Consultation & Treatment Planning

    • Patient selection: Indications, contraindications, blood disorders, medication checks, consent and medical photography.
    • Facial assessment: Mapping volume loss and choosing between plasma gel, I-PRF or a combined protocol.

    Injection Techniques

    • Needle and cannula methods: Bolus, linear threading and fanning for tear troughs, temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds and hands.
    • Live model practice: Supervised treatments on real patients, from preparation to aftercare.

    Safety, Complications & Aftercare

    • Recognising adverse events: Swelling, bruising, lumps, infection and vascular warning signs, and how to manage them.
    • Aftercare and follow-up: Aftercare advice, review appointments and building treatment courses for your clients.
